Race Info.
Race Name: Android

Special Abilities: Doesn’t Need To Eat, Infinite Power Source, Does not have a Ki, so cannot be found through Ki Sensing

Race History:
The androids served as main villains during the Android Saga and the Imperfect Cell Saga, each serving a purpose of their own. Originally, all of the androids were plans used to kill Goku, however, most of the androids turned to the good side or were killed. However, in the Future Trunks time line, the androids succeeded in their plans for world destruction, managing to kill all of the main Z Fighters (except for Goku, who died of a heart virus, and Gohan, who survived but was killed 13 years later) until later being finally killed by Trunks almost 20 years later.
There are three types of androids seen in the series, according to their power supplies:
1. The kind with no drawbacks and an unlimited power supply (such as #16, #17 and #18).
2. The kind which requires constant intake of energy, usually stolen by victims, to keep their power reservoir from draining, which would cause the android to malfunction (such as #19 and #20).[1] Curiously, Dr. Gero oversees his configuration into the latter, rather than the type with no apparent limitations (though it's implied by 18 that this was because the energy-absorbing model was easier to control).
3. Cell. See below.*
There are also three types of androids seen in the series, according to their "base" or materials:
1. "Cyborgs", androids made from an original human as a base (such as #17, #18 and #20).
2. "Total artificial construct types", androids which were made up completely from mechanical parts (such as #13,#14, #15, #16, and #19)).
3. Cell. See below.*
Cell is the only example of the third kind of android depicted in the series known to exist, both based on base material and power supply. He is a bio-mechanical android, constructed bio-artificially rather than from machine parts and/or a human base. Also, his power runs on some form of cross-organic ki based on cells from different humans, Saiyans and other species, which makes it generally circulate the same way as that of organic warriors.
His cells also possess elements of the first two power supply types as well. For one, he is able to absorb the energy of others and integrate them into his being through his tail, either by sucking them up or swallowing them whole. The latter method actually transforms him into a stronger state, and if he absorbs both #17 and #18 this way, he enters a form of evolution he describes as "perfection". Also, his cells can store memory of any form of power they ever taste, allowing him to return to that form if he should ever nearly become vaporized after losing it. Thanks to this combined the Seikan healing factor of his Saiyan cell properties, he can in fact return from near death even stronger than ever before no matter how severely he should be weakened beforehand.
Also, for some reason, the totally artificial ones have a blood-like liquid crimson substance, presumably a kind of red power oil.

Background Information:

Android 18 and Krillin

When Krillin first meets Android 18 he is very attracted to her, even though she is supposed to be heartless and willing to destroy any obstacles impeding her progress of assassinating Krillin's best friend, Goku. During an encounter on a highway after she and her brother nearly kill the Z Fighters, 18 kisses the terrified Krillin on the cheek after he tries to persuade them to drop their search for Goku. This is when Krillin begins to fall in love with her.

Android 18 kisses a terrified Krillin in "No Match for the Androids".
After Semi-Perfect Cell arrives, Krillin refuses to engage her self-destruct device, which would have destroyed her, in spite of the serious threat

Android 18 (From Imperfect Cell Saga to Cell Games Saga)
that could result in Cell's perfection posed by 18 being alive. Because of this, Semi-Perfect Cell eventually absorbs her and reaches his ultimate power, but Perfect Cell becomes overpowered by Gohan, and regurgitates Android 18. Krillin immediately comes to her side and tends to her for the duration of the battle. When Super Perfect Cell is defeated, Krillin uses the Dragon Balls to make a wish to Shenron that Android 18 and Android 17 would be restored their complete humanity, but when Shenron is unable to grant his request, Krillin takes the opportunity to wish for the self-destruct devices within 18 and 17 be removed. Krillin pursues Android 18 and he and 18 eventually have a child together, a daughter named Marron.
At the the World Martial Arts Tournament during the World Tournament Saga, Krillin dispels to Goku the misconception that 18 is a pure android and therefore could not have a child, explaining that 18 was originally human but was just "remodeled . . . a little bit" by Dr. Gero, making her a cyborg (Future Trunks appropriately refers to she and 17 as such during the Trunks Saga, as well). Android 18 is too artificial to age, thus leaving her with the same appearance from the Androids Saga through the Kid Buu Saga, with the exception of a haircut. 18's destructive personality significantly fades following the Cell Games, and she comes to be accepted as a member of the core group of characters, particularly after she and Krillin marry and have a daughter.

Cell absorbs #18 as she struggles.
Although Android 18 is a loving wife and mother, and she is occasionally harsh to Krillin much like both Chi-Chi and Bulma are to their own husbands, she sometimes displays her frightening and unpredictable nature towards others, particularly Master Roshi or Mr. Satan.
Future timelines
Main article: Future Android 18
In an alternate timeline, Android 18 and Android 17 are unequaled mass murderers who have reduced human civilization to shambles. Gohan is the last of the original Z Fighters not killed by the androids left to hold his own (although a handful of characters who supported the group, including Master Roshi, Bulma and Chi-Chi, have also managed to take refuge). As the years pass, it becomes obvious that Gohan and Trunks are the only martial artists left capable of fighting the androids, however, no conceivable advantage for them arises and Gohan is eventually killed. In the second alternate timeline to merge with the mainstream one, Trunks successfully destroys androids 18 and 17, but is killed by Imperfect Cell, who then uses Trunks' time machine to travel to the past, where he sheds his larval exoskeleton leaving it to be discovered at the end of the Androids Saga. Trunks, whose visits to the time in his past (the main plot of the series) constitute the first alternate timeline to merge with the mainstream one, returns to his time after the destruction of Super-Perfect Cell by Gohan, and ultimately vanquishes both androids 17 and 18, as well as Imperfect Cell, with the power he gains from his training with Vegeta.

Future Android 18, preparing to give Future Trunks an energy blast.
For unknown reasons, the mainstream androids are stronger than their future timeline counterparts. The plausible explanation of differences between power and personality could stem from the changes of the androids' intent when Dr. Gero created them. In Future Trunks' timeline, Goku dies from a viral heart virus six months before the androids first appear. When Trunks battles the androids in The History of Trunks, Android 18 and Android 17 reveal they were "created for world domination." Upon hearing the news of Goku's death, Gero stopped augmenting his android assassins and turned them into world domination machines (but couldn't correct their individuality in any timeline). In the mainstream timeline, since Goku never assumes Super Saiyan transformation to defeat Frieza and King Cold, thus burning a significant amount of ki, the virus doesn't attack until much later (as explained by Vegeta during the fight with Android 19). However with Goku's survival, Dr. Gero follows through with augmenting his own android powers, whereas in future timelines this would not have been necessary with Goku already dead. A third alternative may be that the androids of the mainstream timeline merely exert themselves more than the androids of the future, so as to cope with the more powerful Z Fighters, giving the impression that androids 17 and 18 are weaker in the future timeline than the mainstream one.
After the death of Super Perfect Cell, Future Trunks returns to his timeline and destroys androids 17 and 18 with the power he achieves training with Vegeta in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, ending their years of devastating the planet.
Joining the Z Fighters

Android 18 and Mr. Satan during the Tournament.
Later in the series, Android 18 is matched against Mr. Satan in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Not interested in the attention that becoming tournament champion (and in addition, prevailing over Satan, who Satan City are generally under the impression is the most powerful martial artist alive), 18 allows Mr. Satan to defeat her and retain his somewhat misappropriated title, provided that he reimburses her an amount of money greater than the prize money that he would be receiving as tournament champion. The same day however, Android 18 is killed, along with her family, by Super Buu, who turns her into chocolate and eats her (interestingly making this the second time that she is ingested by a super-villain in Dragon Ball).

Android 18 at the end of Dragon Ball Z
Her life is restored through a wish from Porunga, and she later supplies Goku with her energy to fuel a Spirit Bomb, in an effort to defeat Kid Buu. Though peace has returned, Android 18 still maintains a cool and distant attitude toward Goku, as she was originally "created" to kill him, but she still can't resist smiling when Goku returns and has a tearful reunion with his family, showing a softer side to her personality.

RP Sample:

There definitely was boiling anger. Then again, anger always boiled, and depending on the highness of said boiled anger, a person can resort to such stupid acts. Sometimes regrettable, but regret wasn’t able to make a way into Sia’s head. Perhaps it was too weak to survive the heated temperature of her insides, or knew its efforts were futile to even think she’d admit to regretting anything.

It would be reasonable to think her hot-head, along with her unusually high body heat would somehow melt the surrounding snow covering her whole body, but the mass amount made it impossible to do such a possible act. Despite the snow’s colour, everything she could lay her tired eyes upon was dark, except for small holes above her head [so she thinks] which shone upon her, a lighter darkness, compared to the rest.

Everything, up to the meeting was memorable to some extent, but all events leading afterwards were too vague to remember. Perhaps she’d hit her head on a rock before tumbling down into a heap of snow? There were many reasons as to why she was placed in this “hole,” and the best situation was to get out before hypothermia wanted to visit. For someone with such unbalanced anger issues, Sia could determine what to do next, as if it was easy to figure out left from right.

Standing on legs was hard enough, let alone having to walk. Every inch of her body was extremely cold; maybe the anger didn’t boil hot enough. Her strides could be defined as something an entertainer would do, but funny, or not, she was getting somewhere. The area wasn’t someplace she knew well, but Sia was able to get herself inside the headquarters, as the trip had aided her in defrosting of her bones.

There was no time to announce her entry; she could barely speak. Her vocal chords seemed raspy, having silenced them for who knows how long. She was regaining her strength as her body seemed to adjust to the correct temperature. Making her way to, what seemed to be like the individual rooms, Sia mindlessly stepped in, realizing her guesses were wrong.

The scene before her looked like an image from the “old” days; if she’d acquired black and white vision, it would look like something ripped off from a western movie, guessing the cowboys back then knew how to read, she thought, as her gaze fell upon the heap of books, collecting dust on the table. The bar was so coincidentally placed, and with her brain not working up to its full capacity, she could only imagine she was being punked. However, one dominant image shook all silly possibilities out of her head.

Sia couldn’t tell if he’d seen her, or was just trying to avoid her. Knowing he was the only one who knew all of the answers to her ongoing questions, Sia walked over to him, standing behind his chair as she placed her hands over his shoulders. She wondered if he’d be able to feel her cold hands through his armour.

“So, master,” Sia began, hoping he’d notice the impatience in her voice, “If you turn around, you’d see one of your own members, drenched in water, soaked to the bone, and freezing cold.” Although the fact that he was responsible for this was highly doubtable, Sia wasn’t taking any chances. “I was in a hole,” she started again, with no signs of backing off, “And covered in snow, if you already haven’t noticed. And for the duration of that time, I was probably unconscious, or asleep. I go with the first, seeing as how I’m not capable of sleeping for so long. But then again, who exactly knows how long I’ve been in there?”

Sia was growing more and more frustrated by each word, and wondered if she’d lose it in front of her own boss. Hoping it wouldn’t come to that, she spoke more calmly. “If it was for a while, surely you would’ve noticed my absence. I hope I do have the tiniest place in your head occupied. I’m just wondering why you haven’t come for me, or even had other members to find me.” She knew she was skating on thin ice with her last comment.

“After being in a hole for a while, my frustration did possibly grow a few more times, and I just want answers.”
